I've been on a breakcore binge recently, go figure. Something about the incoherency of drums seems appealing, although I can't exactly put my finger on what it is. Venitian Snares, if I recall correctly, was my first real exposure to breakcore, and it wasn't bad at all.
Hardstyle is also another very similar style, as is Happy Hardcore, Trance, and a few others. They all have very clear distinctions from each other, but all stay in the same experimental techno family. Long story short, it's probably alot more enjoyable when you're on some mind-altering substances.
My only problem with it, is that the music is generally shunned as a whole. Of course you'll find communities that accept and encourage the music, and I'm not suggesting that it needs to be more 'mainstream' (hipster alert), but people hear four seconds of a Breakcore song and don't give it the light of day. It could do with a little more love, is all I'm saying, really.
So, my question to you is, do you listen to any music considered 'out of the norm' by societies standards? J-pop, Industrial, anything. If you do, please, don't be afraid to link some of your favorites. I'd love to hear!

The Meaning.
So, as I sat here without my beloved PSN, I decided to do a bit of PS3 info searching. Among my results were that Sony planned to give players 30 free days of Playstation Plus, and some other magical content that doesn't really matter to me right now, because I found something that is so much better.
On the news site, I happened to find something on Street Fighter x Tekken. I remember being excited as shit for it when it was first released, but the hype kind of died down. But now there are two new trailers for the game, and I almost pissed my pants at how simply awesome it looks. Now, if this game will be great, I have some high expectations from Tekken x Street Fighter. So, what's the general consensus? Which game are you looking forward to more? Do both games even need to get made, or will one satisfy everyone? Who do you want to see?

Throw it on the ground.
So, am I the only one excited for the new Lonely Island album? Got some interesting stuff. They sure don't look like they've matured from before, with the leading song, 'We're Back' consisting of erectile issues, and 'loving' mothers, if you catch my drift.
And I wouldn't have it be any other way. Keep an eye out for the new album Turtleneck & Chain, coming out this May.

Animal Rights.
BECAUSE DEADMAU5 IS NOT POPULAR ENOUGH YET.
So, just Maplestoryan, y'know, KSing, all that good stuff. Private Servers, always the fun stuff. And all of a sudden, the server just decides to take a crap on itself, and Mobs stop appearing. So, out of complete boredom, I go research Nexon and their little Private Server 'Love'. See, back in the day, Nexon didn't like it, but it seems as though some servers can get through with a privacy policy. Now, me, being an aspiring Copyright Lawyer found this insanely interesting. Now, this article claims Nexon is in the right, while this post shows that some of the Nexon employees feel like being a dick is the correct route to go. Now, I feel like Private Servers give players an opportunity to become powerful. It's hard in the normal game. These servers allow people to try out some of the later skills, that they may not like in normal Maplestory, and regret choosing. Same with the Cash items. You aren't refunded. And what if you don't like it? Private servers give you the chance to try it without having to actually pay.

Ratatat.
Might as well start off with some good music.
Also, I'm wondering, since I am a huge Metal Gear junkie, is 4 worth it? I've heard all the hype and plot importance, but the gameplay is supposedly deviating, with more action-heavy stuff. The sneaking around is what made the classics for me. I mean, hearing some dipstick guard hover over me and go 'It's just a box' was the most satisfying feeling ever. But now it seems like it's just BANG POW BANG POW CUTSCENE. What's the general consensus on MGS4?
